Another way of publishing your story is by submitting to Literary Journals. Some Literary Journals pay their authors, some don't. Literary Journals are a good spot for flash fiction, poetry, short stories, etc, while traditional publishing doesn't usually accept short novels. Literary Journals are online websites that showcase work from accepted authors. They are a good reliable source of publishing. Some literary journals pay you, like Page & Spine and The Threepenny Review . Some don't, but they are still a place where you could express yourselves. There are a lot of contests on Wattpad, such as https://www.wattpad.com/story/185495418-1000-words-or-less-flash-fiction-contest for flash fiction writers. Sites similar to Wattpad are such as "Underlined", "Writer's Cafe", "fictionpress" and much more, but Wattpad is the best choice.
